I was delighted to visit Essa Academy for the fourth time last week and meet the students and staff again. The new build is very impressive and it is heartening to find that the drive, commitment and determination to provide an engaging, secure and positive learning environment for all Essa students, hasn't been lost in the move. Collegiate High School is working collaboratively with Essa Academy to further develop our professional links to improve learning and teaching for all our students. The support that Essa Academy has provided to us has been invaluable and every time I visit, I am more and more impressed and enamoured by the positivity and maturity displayed by your students. I look forward to the planned exchange visit with our Y7 students this week and to continuing to grow links between Blackpool and Bolton students! Thanks again to everyone at Essa Academy.

The visit was as inspiring and productive as I had hoped it would be. The wonderfully impressive aspect to me was the strong emphasis on pedagogy and teaching and then using modern mobile technology to enhance every day school life.
Mirroring society and how it is evolving is a feature of how our school operates and it was very pleasing to see how effectively you too use this ethos at Essa.
As a Primary School we would love to link up with Essa in some way, especially when your Primary opens soon. We have our own independent Apple network which we web filter ourselves and have recently had our own app created and are currently contributing to our own wiki

It was just amazing! Before visiting your academy, I of course googled it first. Your school is just what my idea of an ideal modern school was. However, after my visit yesterday, I understood that I was wrong. Your school is much better than I expected it to be. You (students) are among the luckiest people in the world to be studying in such a wonderful school, so please don't waste your time there and try to take advantage of all the things your school is offering you. I hope to visit ESSA academy again in future. Thanks for the fantastics experience!

Mobile Apple tech is the future because it is easy & intuitive and very reliable.
Use of tech at ESSA though is embedded in the pedagogy & that is key.
