I've managed to get to 23, 25 and -24. I'm really rusty with my Maths.

1) I got 24.3 rec
8 x 8 = 64
64/3= 21.3 rec
21.3 rec + 3 = 24.3 rec

2) Is it 98?

ok. Ive got the first question. Took me about 15 min, but i didn't use much of the main four operation (+, -, x /). Here is my solution

I can only use 8,8,3,3 only once.

cube root of eight uses a 3 and an 8 and that is 2
Another cube root of eight = 2

So i have used all my number

Now the two 2's I have, i use them

(2 + 2)! = 24

Cheers

Azim

2+3=8 …2+3 = 5 X 2 = 10 - 2 = 8
3+7=27…3+7 =10 X 3 = 30 -3 = 27
4+5=32.. 4+5 = 9 X 4 = 3 - 4=32
5+8=60…5+8 = 13 X 5 = 65 -5 = 60
6+7=72…6+7 =13 X 6 = 78 - 6=72
7+8=82…7+8 = 15 X 7 = 105 - 7 = 98

I read somewhere that Dr Lieder predicted this would take place in November 2003 and as far as I can tell, it didn't.
