Following their completion of Year 7 students undertake their own personalised learning journey. We operate a two semester year, allowing students ultimate flexibility in the subjects that they select and continue with.

Students select one subject from The Arts, One World, The Web and Well Being once every semester. All students complete courses in English, Math’s, Science, Languages,
ICT and Sport.

Student literally construct their own timetable, based on their goals in life, interests and strengths. They do this in conjunction with our Significant Adult Pastoral team,
their teaching staff and Strand Leaders in each area.

Our stringent eight weekly tracking cycle means that students who appear to be under performing in an area are assisted by our intervention and pastoral teams quickly and concisely. at the Academy study a wide variety of courses. 

This area of the Website will be developed by students and individual Subject areas and will allow parents to view lessons and student work. Wikis will be arriving shortly.
