What Is The ESSA Experience?
The Essa experience is an excellent opportunity for students from years 7 to 11 to take part in a wide range of opportunities to enhance their learning alongside the curriculum. The programme is designed to allow students to develop in ways outside of the classroom that are specifically designed for Essa students. Students will be able to use these opportunities to enhance their learning in lessons and give them a unique experience when they are applying for future courses, apprenticeships or careers.
As a part of the Essa experience students will take part in SAM Learning. Sam Learning is an online resource that has a number of different activities and tests, that enhance students learning outside of their timetabled lessons.
Students can access the activities that are uploaded on the site or tasks that teachers have a set towards their lessons. Students are encouraged to complete a number of hours of SAM learning outside of the lessons to build on their progress and improve their achievement across the curriculum.
