Hello been looking for good new questions and as its half term heres 2 for you.
1) Can you arrange eight 8's so they add up to 1000? (For example, 88+88+88+8+8=280, so thats no good.
2) if the month of June has five complete weekends (i.e saturday and Sunday), what day of the week will the last day of July be on?

You have a basket with ten apples in it.  You have ten friends each of whom want an apple.  You give each of your friends an apple.
After a few minutes each of your friends has one apple each, yet there is an apple remaining in the basket.
How?
