This is a great app for students who struggle with number bonds. Research has suggested that it takes 400 repetitions to remember new skills (to strengthen synapses), but only 10-20 when this is done through play. This game focuses on play to help students develop their understanding and skill using number bonds and simple calculations. Students respond with an answer by touching the screen with the appropriate number of fingers. Those finger marks are left on the screen for them to check their answer. Responses from students have been really positive, and fast consistent progress observed, especially as students are engaged in using the app.
