Curriculum Intent

We want our students to be valuable citizens of society, community, and country.

 

Our Curriculum Mission Statement

Our intent is to ensure that our students all have equal opportunities to gain an understanding and love of our subjects, become digitally literate, building upon skills step by step, to develop curiosity through learning and doing, to become well rounded, confident, technically aware young adults, to be our future entrepreneurs, designers and creators – not just consumers – to prepare them for careers of the future.

We built the curriculum with the intent that students will be able to: 

  • Be digitally literate and be able to communicate effectively

  • Be aware of the Business world and how it functions

  • Develop a curiosity in the evolving Business and Technological world

  • Stay safe online and know their rights in the workplace

  • Develop a sound understanding of career prospects in Computing and Business

  • Be numerate and able to manage finances, both personally and for a business

  • Be able to problem solve by analysing and evaluating situations
